Reflection: Final Paper
Directions: Write 200 words on how far you think you've come from the first phase to the final phase. What steps have you taken to make your paper more coherent and more audience-oriented? What have you learned throughout the class that has helped you write better papers?

First of all, let me just say I actually enjoyed my research topic when we started the first phase. By the end of this final phase, I do not want to read about single-sex education for a long, long time. However, I feel as though I learned a great deal about myself and definitely how to do proper research. I have learned the magic of peer review (or parent review) to make my paper more “readable”. I also learned how to properly write an annotated bibliography even if I do not quite have the citation portion of it down. The dynamics of our small class with our varying personalities made discussions more interesting but also more valuable to me. I feel like we really gave helpful feedback to each other as peers. I am not saying I did not enjoy this class, but I have to say I am really happy it is over! This class has made me more confident in my writing skills for the hundreds of papers I am going to have to write after the summer is over. Thank you and I hope everyone enjoyed our time as much as I certainly did!
